THE AUCKLAND TEAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Auckland will be called upon to defend tile New Zealand Hockey Association's championship shield against Taranaki next Saturday, and the Association will be represented as follows: l!oal, Allen (Auckland); full-backs, Shomtls (United), Speight (University); half-backs,Bad'liam (St.George's), Porter (United), Kavanagn (Auckland); forwards, Jacobsen (University), Barry (United), Mason (Auckland), Mather (Auckland), Murdoch (Auckland). Of the above-mentioned players, Allien, Speight-, llacobscii. and Mason cannot tour south, and their places will be_ respectively lillod hv Bloomtield (United), Richards (University), Prime (Grafton), and Young (Ponso'uby). P. Lepine (Auckland) and Sniythe (Albion) are also included in the touriii" team. "
Wellington, Last Night. The senior championship has been won by United, who yesterday defeated Victoria College ,by 5 to 4.
