WHALEIiOAT WASHED ASHORE. Wellington, Saturday. The constable at Waitotarn reports that on Sunday last a six-Oared whalelioat was found near Makuiuau Rock and the mouth of the Waitotarn river. Tt is about 25 feet limit, and lias no oars or rowlocks. It contains a lady's felt h:it and a kapoc pillow, ami it is suggested that the boat possibly belonged 1» the ship Orleans, wrecked oil' th" Tasnianian coast in June.
