FOOTBALL.

SOLE CUP COMPETITION. To-day Warehousemen will play off with Civil Service for the Sole Cup, which has been offered for Saturday competition. The match will start at 3 p.m. sharp. It has not been arranged definitely where the game will be played, but it will be either on the racecourse or Tukapa ground. The following will represent Warehousemen:— Greene, Crockett, Stohr, Dines, Barker, MacGerkinshaw, Johns, McAllum, Harding, Arthur", McGonagle, Boucher, Richards, Lee and Griffiths. The following will represent the Stratford High School against New Plymouth High School on Saturday (at 1.30 p.m.):—Nash, Cameron, Brown, Cullen, Wood, Stoddart, Payne, Auld, Marchant, Campbell, Goss, Wyllie, McMahon, De Blois, Brown.
