UNION'S UNJUST PROCEEDINGS.

At tbe hearing of the dispute between the Slaughtermen's Union and the Waitara freezing works, Mr. Grosvenor, I representing the latter, protested agarnst [' the union's representative having * brought eight witnesses from Waitara, f thereby closing down the works. k Judge Sim said if Mr. Bust had callf-_ ed witnesses from Waitara he had no ,',lj business whatever to do so, as the Court '■• j,Z lad expressed its willingness to take "> f evidence at New Plymouth if necessary.
