GOLD-MINING DISPUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gore, Last Night. The Conciliation Board met this afternoon in connection with the dispute in the gold-mining industry, the Otagoand Southland Miners' industrial Union being the applicants, and the employers' union and others the respondents. Tne application of the sluicers was neard lirst, and it was agreed to practically renew the old award for one year. As regards the dredgers the old award was agreed to with the exception of the clauses relating to preference for unionists and the minimum wage, consideration of which was reserved till tomorrow. ■ .jjj.jjjilskj
