TROUBLE IN GHRISTOIIURCII. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christdiurch, Monday. In consequence of the Tramway Board having made Cathedral Square the central terminus for all trams, traffic is becoming congested. The City Council lias decided not to allow cab and carrier stands in the Square, and has fixed ether sites. The carriers are very wroth, and held a meeting on Saturday night to protest against the removal. It was decided to take legal advice as to the rights to the Square.and to take action if advice warrants it.
