_ I The Chetwode School team bent Wliukatika yesterday by 3 goals to i. Carrington Road i>layed lnglewood A at Inglewood, and after a very nard game Uirrington Road won by 5 goals to 4. The first spell ended with Carrington Road 3, Inglewood 2, each side scoring two in the second spell. For the visitors goals were scored by llareit, Fred Perry, and Perham (3). For Inglewood J. Harris scored one, J. D. Harrison one, and JI. Sutherland two. j\lr. Rolston refereed. Whilst perfectly fair tu both sides, he gave incorrect interpretations of the rules in some cases. Carrington Road plays New Plymouth West next Thursday, and the winner will play oil' with the southern Taranaki champions. New Plymouth East aiid West teams met yesterday on the Recreation ground, the game resulting in a draw, a goal being scored on each side. Mr. Goldwater refereed.
