NEW TARIFF. By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright Received July 12, 11.JO y.i». New I'ork, July 12. The United States Tariff Bill has been referred to a conference of committees of both Houses. As tile Bill left the Senate it makes no alteration in the Dingley Tariff as far as 75 per cent, of the imports are concerned. It, however, increases the duty on 15 per cent, of the imports, and reduces the duty on 10 jier cent.. Some of the changes aro estimated, on the one hand, to augment the revenue compared with previous duties by thirteen millions sterling, while on the uiacr hand the changes will effect a diminution estimated at £402,000.
