Senator Taft, in connection with Lake Chainplain celebrations, reviewed Earl drey's footguards and the Fifth Royal Canadian Highlanders at Plattsburg. At a 'banquet he remarked that the Canadian people were distined to become great and prosperous, of whose prosperity and greatness Americans were great enough not to 'be' jealous but welcome.
