AMUSEMENTS.
ALL STAR COMPANY. The Chas. Maurice "All Star" Vaudeville Entertainers, which open here for a short season of two nights at the Theatre Royal to-night and to-morrow night, have been attracting largo audiences since the beginning of their New Zealand tour, and New Plymouth playgoers may look forward to a big theatrical treat. Mr. Maurice has spared no expense to procure the best talent from Sydney and Melbourne's leading theatres and music halls, and the theatre should be well filled to-night and to-morrow night. Popular .prices will be charged—3s, 2s, and Is—and the box plan is now open at the Collier and Colonial Piano Company. The entertainment, wliieh is a vaudeville one pure and simple, consists of comedians, s'erios, ballads, and a screamingly funny farce. The company is headed by Mr, George Sorlic, coon impersonator and the holder of the world's championship medal for baton manipulation. The other artists are Miss Thelma Woods, balladist, Shaw and Armcr, .patter comedians and 'buslesque boxers, Miss Pearlie Golden, serio, the Daphne Sisters, serios and dancers, and Mr. Watter Jamieson, character actor and vocalist.
