ACCUSED UNAWARE OF lIIS POSITION. By Telegrapli,*--i J ress Association. Pahnerston North, July 8. Hedley Nye, charged with murdering his step-father, Thomas Nye, at Foxton on Monday, was charged with tlie crime at the police court this morning and reminded to appear at -Foxton next Monday. Accused did not appear to realise his position. He smiled throughout the proceedings.
