TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.

COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the Tanraaki Agricultural Society was held at tile office of the secretary (Mr. E. P. Webster) on Tuesday night. Mr. W. Anibury (president) occupied the chair., Show dates were formally fixed for: December 1 and 2. A vote of. thanks was accorded to the Star Football Club for the use of grass from their reserve during the past season. A donation of 10s Hd was also made to the club. A sub-committee was elected to interview butter buyers with regard to special prizes for the forthcoming show. A special committee was set up to go into the whole matter of holding a winter show for 1910. Mr. S. C. Crisp was elected a member of the society. i The secretary was instructed to write to the Manawatu A. and P. Association relative to particulars of its last year's milikng competition.
