GETTING INTO CLOSER TOUCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Sir Charles Lucas and Mr. A. Pearson, representing the Colonial Office in London, arrived in Wellington from Svdnsv to-day. The object of their mission is' to get into closer and more personal touch with the colonial Governments and with public men with a view to promoting a. better uuderstandin". They will leave for the South in a few"days.
