AX AUCKLAND EXPLANATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. Regarding the excessive moisture in Ai.ek.aml butler, reported by cable, the manager of a large dairying business said that possibly there laid been too much moisture in a small proportion of the butter exported, but this was the result of inadvertence. There had been a disposition of late to have a slight increase of moisture in the butter sent Home, but this had been done as a result of advice from London that people preferred butter that spread well.
