A SHOOTING AFFAIR. London, July 2. John Eden Savile, an Australian, residing at Stamford, Lincolnshire, has been acquitted on a charge of feloniously shooting at Charles Uni'acke, of Dunboync. In reply to Germany's suggestion not to compel the working of the Foreign Patents Act in Britain, Sir Edward Grey, Secretary of Slate for Foreign Affairs, intimates that he is unable to enter into negotiation in the matter until sufficient information is gathered as regards the operation of the new law.
