ATTACKED BY CHINESE
A SURVEYOR KILLED. Received Juno 28, 9.30 p.m. Pekin, June 28. Router's Pekin correspondent reports that the Chinese attacked Hii7.mli, a •native surveyor in the Indian service, and Sowerby, an interpreter, both belonging to a meteorological expedition under Lieutenant Clark, an American, near Luiichow. Ilazrnh was killed, and the other members of the expedition rescued Sowerby. Received June 28, 11.30 p.m. New York, June 28. 'At tho instance of the American Amliassador, the Board of Foreign affairs held an inquiry into tlie outrage and dismissed the Viecrov of Knnsu.
