NGAMOTU CLUB. On Saturday afternoon a match war played on the Xgamotn links between twelve of the lady players and twelve of the men, the men conceding a stroke a hole and the ladies playing off the ladjes' tees at the third, fifth and eighth boles'. The .ladies won three matches and halved one, two matches being lost to them at the eighteenth hole, scores:— Miss Stephenson 1 Mr Addenbrooke 0 Miss Standish 1 LMr. Johns 0 Miss Brewster 0 Mr. Ward 1 Mrs. Oswin o Mr. \Y V Weston 1 Miss Fitzherbert I) Mr. Steads' 1 Miss Read o Mr. Paton 1 Miss Deacon o Mr. R. Gray 1 Miss Smith 0 Mr. McCord 1 Mrs. Paton 0 Mr. Armitage 1 Airs. Johns o Mr. Burgess 1 Mrs. Kimbell I Mr. Jones 0 Mrs. Gray o Mr. Mackay 0 On Saturday next a teams' match will be played. Members wishing to play must hand their names in to the match committee before 4 p.m. on Friday, otherwise they cannot compete.
