ACTING-PREMIER NEARLY KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The Acting-Premier was inteivjcvved at U'aipawa by a deputation, which urged that a change was needed in the interests of country districts in the composition of Napier Harbor Board. After leaving the deputation Mr. Carroll turned to step on to his carriage, when he stumbled over a bag and nearly fell under the moving wheels. He was assisted up and helped on to the carriage, and appeared to have recjved only a shaking.
