RAHOTU. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Another of the series of euchre partics in aid of the Hall Fund took place on Wednesday evening. There was a. very good attendance. Thirteen interesting games were played, and, on counting up, the winners proved to be Miss M. Bowers and Mr. Orr, with 11 games each. Mrs. Bowers was presented with a fancy china teapot and Mr. Orr with a silver butter-knife and jam-spoon. After supper, daweing was indulged in to music kindly supplied bv Mrs. Orr and Miss Sole.

A euchre match took place between teams of sixteen a-side, representing Rahotu and Pnngarehu, on Wednesday evening. The match was very close anil exciting, the isstie being in doubt until the last game was played, Rahotu inquiring to win this to make a draw, -but they failed to uphold their supremacy, losing the match by 21 games to In. The visitors were entertained at dinner by the local team at the Rahotu Hotel, Host Hood providing a spread up to his usual high standard.
