ACCIDENT INSURANCE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The revenue account of the accident branch of the Government I'usuranee Department was laid before Parliament today. It shows that the premiums paid during the year ended December 31st last totalled ±20,5!)7, and claims paid amounted to ±ll,!)2(i. Salaries cost ±121)1)1, and the expenses of management are put down at ±'7l3. The amount of accident funds at the end of tile year was ±9508. The assets include mortgages on property ±40,050, and cash ill hand and on current account 1)1082.
