Intimation has been received from London lh„t »r Mary Blair, „•],« left "vllinglon for England some eight or lime years ago to pursue her medical studies, has just been appointed house surgeon at the London Hospital for \\ omen for the ensuing six months. Dr. "lair is a dimgiiter of tile late -Mr. w! K. lilair, at one time Engineer-in-Cliiet to the Public Works Department, and is an .U. Ji. of tlie London University.
