CHARGE ACIAIXST DENTISTS. Gore, Last Night. At the Gore Police Court to-day » series of live prosecutions under the Dentists Act, were preferred ngains'tT. A. B. Winglield, registered dentist, and W. T. Splatt. 'i*he prosecutors were the Otago Odontologicnl Association. Wingfield was charged with permitting Splatt, an unregistered person. to tarry on practice in his name and not under his immediate supervision. Winglield and Splatt were charged that they were ail association currying on practice ami nut consisting wholly of registered dentists. Splatt a lone was charged with performing certain dental operations and not being registered. Splatt commenced business in (lore as an American painless dentist and an advertisement attached to the name of Winglield, who is an Invercargill registered dentist. The defence stated that Splatt did this unknown to Winglield, who subsequently repudiated it, and had.it altered personally. Counsel stated that Winglield had nothing to do with the Gore business. All the charges were dismissed, costs being allowed to Wingfield.
