XEW ZEALAND PRODUCE IN BRITAIN. * The Department of Agriculture has re-eon-erf the following report from the Traduce toimiiissioncr at Home on the above products : "When in JJristol last week 1 lmd the opportunity of inspecting the snip, nicnt of oats on board tin- s.s. Devon and Mayorshirc, and of calling "upon the gram merchants wbo were handling the shipments.' The quality of tl° oats was highly satisfactory. The market for oats has recently been good mid on discharge they met a good demand. Comparing tneni with oats received from the Continent, 1 found the. -New Zealand parcels to he brighter and better altogether. They are principally purchased for crushing lor sale as horse feed, there being very little demand in Bristol for use as oatmeal. The merchants expressed their satisfaction with them, and informed me that they could at present place large lines for future delivery. The price ruliii" in Bristol per 3201b was 20s per quarter. "There was also on tlu- Devon a sliipthe consignee was very pleased. For these there was a good demand, the i|iialiLy of them being very satisfactory The price ivas stated to me to be 42s per 5041b."
