RIFLE SHOOTING.
The following team will represent the Taranaki Guards against the Mangorci Rifle Club on Thursday next:—Riddles, Bruce, Grover, Hill. King. Jilanchard, Nichols', and Lieut. Boon. Brake leaves at 11.45.
The following will lire ngain.it Kaitake:—Captain Mills. Lieut. ISeadle. Oliver, Evans, .Short, Lobb. Coodacre. and Gohlwater. A brake will leave at 11.31) sharp. Any member not being able to shoot please advise Pvtl Kin". The Taranaki Rifle Union'." shield , v ill be fired for on the Waiwakaiho range on June 3rd. The Guards will enter" two teams, comprising most of the members enumerated above.
_ The Guards' B team talks of challenging the A's to a match, the latter giving a 'handicap of one point per man." The losers will be expected to entertain the winners at a dinner.
