PREFKKEXCE TO UXIOXI.STS. By Telegraph.---Press Association, 'Wiingiiiiui, Last Xiglit. The annual meeting of the Employers' Association to-night resolved: " ...iat this Association is strongly opposed to (lie new phase of preference to unionists as lately laid down by the Arhitrition Court, and pledges itself to opm>-,e the same by every means in its power. We are satisfied that ;i very large proportion of the workers of Xcw Zealand are not members of a union, aad that they luive strong objections to joining any union. The employer is I lip only person competent to judge who i« capable and worthy of employment by him." It was also resolved to hold an" Industries Week at the time of the boat race.
