From what wo can gather the two witi? out shooting together. The son i:ad just lived at a bird, -and brought his gun down to reload, when by some means the second barrel was fired. Mr. Hinz was standing only a eottple of yards away, and received a pood portion of the shot in the inner sides of his thighs, the hulk of the charge apparently passing between his legs. He was brought f the hospital the same evening, and was attended by tile medical superintendent anil the stalf. He was placed under an anaesthetic for a couple of hours to have his injuries- attended to. He is now making satisfactory progress.
