M'AUAME MELBA. Madame Melba and her concert party arrived in town by last night's express, and they are staying at the White Hart Hotel. 'l'iie Theatre Royal should be well filled this evening with lovers of art, and with tlipse who are desirous ol hearing the world's " Queen of Song." Much has been written of her wonderful powers, and we need add nothing this morning, except that to-night" tile theatregoers of New Plymouth will be given an opportunity of hearing the world's greatest singer in the zenitn .of her power and fame. Mr. John Leminone, the flautist, is recognised as one of the world's leading exponents oh tli • flute. Mr. Frederick Ranalow has a rich - baritone voice, which lias been highly spoken of by the Press of Austral asia during the present tour. Miss Una 'Bourne's pianoforte solos are gems of the musical art, and we are assured of a treat from her. Mr. Harold Whittle is the accompanist.
