A letter was received from Tuknpa and Star Clubs asking that the disqualification of the following players wio took part in the professional matches be removed, viz., Hardgrave, Johnston, Hooker, McLean. Morri-j Walsh, Frcwin. Smith, O'Driscoli, C. McLean, Haskell and Stroud. It was resolved to forward , the application to the X. Z. Rugby Union. .

F. . Spurdlc, referee in the Clifton] v Stratford match, reported that be had , ordered off a Clifton player named M. Partridge, for striking an opponent. Resolved tluilPthe player be suspended until next meeting, when the ca-c will be further dealt with. It was resolved that affiliated players be given permission to play for Saturday teams, provided the Star and Tnkapa Clubs offer no objection, and also provided no disqualified players be allowed to play. The sum of C2 2s was voted to i"e Deans Memorial fund, and Ci was granted the North Taranaki Referee*' N Association towards the expenses of pni tertaining visiting referees at the recent conferepce. i The- fixtures as drawn up by the Western Division committee were approved, as also were the -electors appointed.
