Sydney, May 7. In reference to the shipment of the Australian mutton recently condemned in London, it was shipped froni Melbourne to the order of a firm of Svdncv exporters, after being twice officially inspected and passed ae of fair average quality and in good condition. The principal firm concerned cannot understand the reasons of condemnation. They have been shipping for years and never had a complaint in regard to the meat exported. In respect to the ewe mutton, officially classed as second grade, the carcases averaged 47 pounds each, and the firm cannot see how it was possible to describe the meat as' wasted and emaciated. v
