THE CREMATION QUESTION.
A PREMIER'S OBJECTION. Received 7, 11.45 p.in, Sydney, May 7. A deputation favoring cremation' pointed out that, the cost to the Government of erecting a crematorium would be infinitcaihial compared witli cemeteries. Mr. Wade gave a non-committal reply. He did not hold out any hope of the Government erecting the crematorium. One of the strongest objections to cremations was that it would interfere with the chance of crime by poisoning being brought home to criminals. It might prove an incentive to murder.
