RIFLE SHOOTING.

NEW CONDITIONS. By TelegrapL-Press Association. * Wellington, Monday. In a recent speech at the Rifle Club social Col. Collins said great changes had taken place in shooting and we would nave to fall in line with other nations and go in for musketry training with disappearing targets at unknown ran«cs. He had a great regard for the old black and white target but further onposition to the new ideas was not desirable in the interests of rifle shooting. This will mean a change in th e policy of the Rifle Association and naturally 'an alteration in company and rifle club shooting. Both volunteers and clubs, therefore, will be well advised to adopt service matches for ordinary competitions to meet the new conditions in view of the changes that may be expected at the big meeting.
