Much disappointment is felt that tho match between the New Zealand and Victorian ladies on Davis Cup lines lias fallen through owing to the Victorian authorities not being prepared to play four a side. '- FURTHER RESULTS. Received 3, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, May 3. The unfinished matches, Xew Zealand versus New South Wales, in the ladies' contest were played, but as the Xew Zealanders had already practically secured a win, uvoSed little interest. In" th c ' singles, Miss Baker beat Miss Nunneley by 7—5 in the concluding set of the unfinished match. Hiss Wellwood beat Miss Lee, o—fi, Ward beat Miss Jones, 7—5, 6—3. In the doubles, Misses Grey and Travers' easily beat Mrs. Doyle and Miss Gardiner. In the final of the ladies singles handicap, Miss Powdrell beat Miss Lee, 4-8, 7—5, 6-^3. In the doubles handicap final, Misses Addison and Yuile (Victoria) beat Mrs. Uoldie and Miss Grey, 6—2, o—3.
