Scott got a nasty fall when Arivorc came down with him in the. Karere Haok Race on Wednesday. Scott was rendered unconscious, but recovered' slightly after being taken to the hospital. He has injured his spine, and is also suffering from internal injuries. More than one punter knew all about Brilliancy on Thursday and they put their money in so solidly that the Bar Vons had an awful bump. It was a "sweet" bet! . Roosevelt made amends for his defeat by Daisy Paul in the Longburn Handicap by gathering in the Dominion Cup after a terrific struggle with Tangimoana and Sandstream.
