MINING STRIKE TROUBLES.
Sydney, April ». Strikes have caused the wheelers at the Clifton South and Clifton collieries to lie thrown out of work.
The lute employees of the Proprietary and Block 10 mines have decided not to resume work until the companies officinlly recognise the combined uniont. Ibis is causing trouble. At the Port Pirie smelting work* ■ number of hands who resumed were given a hostile reception fcya larga crowd, a couple of them being assaulted, A strong force of police was required to keep order.
