FATAL FALL OVER A PRECIPICE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dimcdin., Monday, Andrew Weatherston, aged 15, employed at Mount Judah station, I.«J-;e Wa'katipu,,went out mustering on the hills on Thursday, and as he did not return on Friday, a search was made, resulting in his body being found on Sunday at the foot of a precipice, over which he had fallen. INFANTICIDE DISPROVED. Christchurch, La«t Night. The verdict of -the jury in the alleged case of infanticide at ltangiora was that the child's death was due to strangulation for want of proper attention at bii'lh. but no blame was attachable to anyone. THE GLEXTUNNEL FATALITY. Christchurch. Last Night. At the inquest on John Doyle, who was injured at (Uciituirael on the 10th and died in the hospital mi the 22nd, a verdict of accidental death was returned, with a rider recommending that ambulance stretchers shouM be carried in all railway guards' vans.
