AN ARREST MADE. Madrid, April 20. He escaped detection each time by his cool audacity. One of the managers happened to inquire of headquarters after the man had gone, and the fraud was discovered. The thief, however, was either warned before be reached the next branch or took fright, for he escaped. Complicity of a bank official was suspected, as without uii internal knowledge of the bank's methods and also possessing the code word, the fraud was impossible.
