Mr. T. H. Hamcr, who will leave for London on Thursday to take up his new duties in the Higli Commissioner's oflite, was entertained by his friends in WelJinpr.toTi last evening, says a Press wire. The officers of the department met this morning to say good-bye to Mr. Hamer. The guest was the recipient of a cheque subscribed for by his associates. Mr. W. R.
