OUTBREAK OF DIPHTHERIA
By Telegraph.—Press Associalien Duuedin, Last .Viglit. ■Mr. .1. H. Walker, chairman of the Charitable Aid and Hospital Board, received word from the Health Department yesterday of an outbreak of diphtheria at Kaitangata. -Seven cases have been reported, one patient is dea 1. and three others are in a serious condition. Mr. Walker at once got into telephone communication with Dr. Fitzgerald, and finding that isolation of the cases was imperative, gave instructions for a temporary erection to be put up at Kaitangata.
