MR. LAURENSON FAVORS SPECIAL TAXATION.' By Telegraph.- Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A well-attended meeting at Lytteltou on Saturday almost unanimously passed a motion approving of the Government's oiler of a Dreadnought. MT. LanrcnsOn. M.P., in the course of an able, logical and convincing speech, suggested that the interest and sinking fund on the loan for the Dreadnought he raised by reducing the income tax exemption to t'ioO, and by increasing probate duties.
