TRIAL OF SEDITION - LEADERS. Received 15, 10.31) p.m. Calcutta, April 15. Assessors at Alipur found 25 accused, including Arabiiulo Uhose, not guilty, and his brother Baron and seven others guilty. Judge Bcachcroft, who was not bound by the assessors' opinion, delivers judgment in a week. Bengali excitement is increasing, and great precautions have been taken to prevent the rescue of the accused. During 120 sittings, 200 Crown exhibits, including bombs, detonators and chemicals were shown. There were no witnesses for the defence. The Crown Prosecutor's address lasted 18 days. He showed that the prisoners had prepared maps and plaua of places they meant to attack, and had bolstered tin! propaganda, "among youths by a siibilratuiii of religion.
