Wybourue (Waverley), 2—B, (t-4, rf>_4. Davey was unable to wait for the final ami forfeited to W. H. Swainson (PaMatua). Combined Championship (final)—A. Powdrell and Miss Powdrell beat Clark and Hies Newcombo (Wanganui), ft—2, (>—2. Men's Handicap Doubles—Wybourno Bros. (Waverley) beat McCaul and Clark (Wanganui), flfl—37. Combined Handicap—A. Powdrell nad Mrs. Powdrell (il'ntca) beat Lampe and -Miss McLcod (Wanganui). UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT. Wellington, Last Night. The finals of the University Tennis Tournament were played to-day. In the wmlbhied doubles Jennings iind Mis* (imcc (Canterbury) defeated Cowhand Miss Edward (Otago). In the men's doubles Jennings and Wilding (Canterbury) beat Bundle and Cower (Otago). The tennis championship cup therefore goes to Canterbury College.
