The holiday passed over quietly, me weallier was beautifully Hue and lucre was a large exodus to the country. The champioiisuip cycle sports at Iciiiuka were fairly attended. F. Wells won tne live, three, and one mile ellampions.iips and the mile handicap. S. Campion won the half-mile championship. The otiler events fell to local men. The Fairlie agricultural show was largely attended., but competition was mainly coulined to the district lnruier» and residents.
