The following arc the inscriptions to be placed upon the sides of the MarslaUd Kill Memorial:--"To tlic honored memory of the services of H.M. Naval, Military, and Colonial Forces and Loyal Maoris who fell in action or died during the Maori Wars, 184547 and 18G0-70. Erected by their comrades and fellow-countrymen from all parts of the British Empire, April, 1909." FRONT OF THE UPPER TABLET. The following Colonial Forces served in the New Zealand wars:— N.Z. H.M.S. Driver. I 11.M.5. Eclipse. I H.M.S. Elk. H.M.S. Esk. 11.M.5. Falcon. 11.M.5. Fawn. H.Ar.S. Ilaiirier. H.AI.S. Hazard. H.AI.S. Iris. H.AI.S. Miranda. fI.M.S. Niger. H.AI.S. North Star. TT.AI.S. Orpheus. H.M.S. Pelorus. H.AI.S. Racehorse. H.M.C.S. Victoria. H.E.I.C. Elphln'stone. EAST SIDE OF SMAIXEU TABLET. The following Imperial Corps served in the New Zealand wars.:— Royal Artillery.
