RIFLE SHOOTING.

VOLUNTEERS v. BIELE CLUBS. The third animal rille mated Volunteers v. Kille Clubs was fired at Elthain yesterday, and resulted in a win for the rille clubs by 00 points. The Heather conditions were against good shooting. Rifleman Guy with ( J5 was the highest scorer for trie day, his 33 at IiOO yards being a " bumper." Rillenien McLagcn and Standish compiled 34 at 500 yards, a big score under the prevailing weather conditions. The Elthain Utiles are to be congratulated on the very excelle-.it arrangements made for the day, the luncheon provided being much above the usual at such meetings. The visitors speak in the highest terms of the hospitality received at the hands of Mcsdanies Evans, Whiting, aid ltobertson and Lieutenant Whiting and Sergeant Vincent. The secretary for tile fixture, Rillcman Clapper is also to be complimented upon the manner in which he discharged his duties. The following are the scores:— RIELE CLUBS.
