It was resolved that the chairman and slerk lake the necessary steps to wind up the JionrdV, matters". Messrs Ainbury and r-'rolllcy were granted permission to take metal from the quarry. Mr. ti.'Todd waited on the Hoard re his claim for royalty on .lunc.--lt was resolved that tiie Board, having heard Mr. (!. Todd'- explanation, cannot see its way to alter it- previous resolution.

It was resolved that the chairman be requested to call a public meeting of ratepayers at an early dale in llio Franklcy I'oad schoolroom, to place before them the position of Hie Board upon its merging into the county and any information relating to the past I history of tin,, district. 1
