At the monthly meeting of the above Board there, were present: Mr. ,s. TuruImll (chairman), Messrs. Coiuiott, Yule. Smith, and Western. Surfaceman Palmer reported that Mr. Itiehards hail completed his Cross road contract ami had started the Te Arei road metalling. Surfaceman I'aul reported (hat Griffith's' hill on Richmond road had been formed, 'SUboii terrace ploughed and luvrrowcil. and Smith street in Lcppertou township lormed.
The clerk was directed to inform Mr. Roy that Mr, Bowman'* fence by Kelly ixwd deviation hail been ,put in its right place; also to write to Kgniont Road Board and reipie»l payment, of amount due for use of trader on lower end of Corbett road.
Mr. Smith reported that tin- contractor would only deliver 2DI) vards of mi'tiil ill the contact price of o< per yard on the Tc Aici road, lint would supply aiiv 'further ipiantity ii'ijuiii-rl at (is! 'lt was decided to sigreo to this. Mr. .Smith to arrange with- till' contractor.
