MEASLES AND SCARLET FEVER

OUTBREAK ON THE CORINTHIC. By Telegraph.—Preis Association. Wellington, Last Night. An out-break of measles and scarlet fever occurred among the passepgers by the Corinthic from London, now on .the last stage of the voyage from Hobart to Wellington. Special preparations are being made by the Health, Department to deal with the cases in quarantine. It is understood that the cases considerably outnumber any previous outbreak during recent years, though the cases are of a mild nature.
