Received March 7, 4.45 p.m. • London, March li King Edward lias committed to Lord ■Eslier, to utilise, the late Queen ictoria's unpublished journals, for an address to the lloyal Institute. There are, 1250 large volumes of correspondence nnd 'journals, and 100 manuscript volumes, comprising a daily record of the late Queen's life from her thirteenth birthday to within ten days of her death. The journals will never be published entirely. At Queen Victoria's wish these were examined by Princess Beatrice, who copied many volumes, excising tlw passages Queen Victoria desired to remain private.
