HOSPITAL COLLECTIONS. Invercargill, Last Night. The "Hospital Saturday" collection for t'lie Southland Hospital was taken up vesterdav, and the" amount announced to date'totals about £OSO. There arc several country lists yet to coinc to hand, and it is calculated that the grand total will be £7OO. Of this amount small percentages arc to be net aside for the Victoria Home (for fricmuofis girls), Bluff Sailors' Rest, Prisoners' Aid Societv, and Wxpemiy t'bthtag Club, leaving 70 per cent, for the addition of a children's ward to the hospital. This is the second of such collections hero. Last year the total was i'll7B.
