FRANKLEY ROAD BOARD.
The Frankle.y Road Board met on Saturday last, there being present, the chairman (Mr. 11. Okey) and Messrs W. Ambury, and F. Newell, The foreman's report for February, stating the road.9 were in order, was read. Correspondence was read from the county clerk, re grant to Road Board; from A. Wallace, claiming royalty 071 stone, llenricksen's contract; from the Valuation Department, asking payment for revising roll; from J. Hooker, re stone; from Henrickscii and Wills. ?'o carting metal over 'Frankley Road. It was resolved that tlu» amount of royalty received from Hcnriekscn. be paid to A. Wallace; that Uenrickse-i and Wills' offer to pay the sum of 3d per yard on all stone carted over the Frankley Road be accepted; that the clerk take immediate action to recover all outstanding rates by means oi the S.M. Court; that the foreman receive one month's notice, to terminate his 'engagement with the Hoard, and that lie be recommended for the same posii tion in the county. : Accounts for £l2 IDs 2d were passed ! for payment.
